JOIN US IN CELEBRATING FIVE YEARS OF FILM FESTIVAL SUCCESS!
OCTOBER 21 - 23, 2016
You're invited to help us celebrate the 6th annual Parrsboro Film Festival, October 21-23, at The Hall on King Street. The idea for a film festival was hatched in 2011 by a group of local film buffs who enjoy and appreciate independent films, especially those made in Atlantic Canada or with a strong Atlantic Canadian connection. This year, we're offering sponsorships of a feature film or an entire session.

Sponsorship of a feature film is only $200.00 and includes mention of your sponsorship in our program, on our website, and during the introduction to the film. We’ll also provide two free tickets to the session in which the film you have sponsored is being screened.

Sponsorship of a session, which includes a block of films, is just $350.00 and includes all the above plus four free tickets to the session and the opportunity to display promotional materials. Sponsorships allow us to pay a fee for each film, which is part of the way we support the film industry.

Since our first festival we have had the privilege of viewing many exceptional films and documentaries and interacting with the directors and actors who have come to discuss their work.

We screen our films at The Hall (www.thehall.ca), which has a big, 16-foot retractable screen, soft theatre seating and exceptional surround sound...and, of course, popcorn!   Check out our website at festival history for past programming.

The Parrsboro Film Festival is associated with the Parrsboro Band Association, a not-for-profit community group that provides free music lessons to anyone in our community as well as participation in a citizens' band and choir. The Association also presents concerts and films at The Hall.

We will be in touch in the near future to discuss what level of support you may wish to provide or you can reach Lori Lynch at mail@gillespiehouseinn.com or 902-254-3196.

Thank you for your consideration. We hope you can help us celebrate six years of film and Atlantic Canadian talent.
