Short Film Submission
After viewing the short films, the audience votes to select the favourite in two categories. The People's Choice Winners for 2022 short films are:
For films 5 minutes and under - Living in Flow: Musemo Handahu , director Meaghan Wright. Documentary, Living in Flow represents never ending growth.
For films 20 minutes and under - A Walk in The Sun, director Tobi Martin-Flemming. Drama, A painting inspires a romance.

A Walk in the Sun
The Parrsboro Film Festival is inviting Atlantic Canadian filmmakers to submit films for the 2023 Parrsboro Film Festival short film competition.
PFF will take place this year from Friday, September 29 to Sunday, October 1, 2023.
There are two categories of films to choose from:
Short films 5 minutes or under
Short films under 20 minutes
Films must be completed within the past 24 months.
All genres of film will be accepted.
The short film competition will take place Saturday morning between 9 and 1pm.The audience will vote for their favourite film at the end of each category.
Cash awards for The Audience Favourite in each of these two categories will be presented Saturday at the end of this portion of the Film Festival.
Applications deadline is August 4, 2023.
Applicants will be advised by September 8, 2023 if their applications were successful or not.
Short films will be selected by a jury of PFF committee members.
